What Is Try Scuba Diving?
Try Scuba Diving is an introductory experience, not a certification course. It lets you breathe underwater and explore the reef under close instruction, so you can decide whether diving is for you. Your participation is recognised, but it does not make you a certified diver. If you love it, you can continue with our SSI Open Water Diver course.
Your Try Scuba Diving Experience, Step by Step
- Theory session Your instructor covers the equipment, underwater signalling and safety, so you know what to expect before you get in the water.
- Confined water dive Practise your first breaths and skills in shallow, controlled conditions, where you can get comfortable at your own pace.
- Open water dive Take what you have learned into the ocean in Fiji's Beqa Lagoon and explore the reef with your instructor.
- Recognition You are recognised for taking part in the experience. It is not a full certification, but it is a great start.
