Hi, I’m Axcel, proud owner of Coral Coast Divers here in the heart of Fiji’s Beqa Lagoon.

As an SSI Open Water Specialty Instructor and Marine Ecology Instructor, I get to do what I love every day — guiding divers, feeding sharks, and teaching guests about the incredible marine world we’re lucky enough to call home. I’ve been diving since I was just 10 years old, and that early spark grew into a lifelong passion for the ocean, especially sharks and conservation.

Before moving to Fiji and founding Coral Coast Divers, I served as an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department. That experience taught me discipline, quick thinking, and the deep satisfaction of protecting what matters — values I now bring underwater every time I step onto the boat.

When I’m not in the water, you’ll find me on the mat practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or working on our ongoing shark and reef conservation projects. My greatest joy is watching guests leave with a new respect for these magnificent animals and a desire to help protect them.
